Truth be told, a lot of people are eagerly awaiting this game. It fills a nice niche for those who are not into the fantasy genre (an arena currently dominated by Blizzard's award-winning World of Warcraft), and would rather play as a free operative in the cybertech setting of The Matrix.

From the screenshots that they've been releasing, the environment is pretty impressive and straight out of the movies.

The game is being developed by Monolith Productions, the same studio that is responsible for the likewise anticipated F.E.A.R. FPS game. The game will be published by Warner Brothers and Sega.
