Wednesday Night DOTA!

Wednesday DOTA Night

Wednesday nights are now DOTA NIGHTS at GameFrog! To show our appreciation for all you hardcore and casual DOTA players, we've set up this night in the week where everyone can get together and enjoy some DOTA pwnage! More importantly, it'll let players meet the rest of the GameFrog DOTA community so you can trade tips, test strategies, boast about epic battles and have a hero-bashing good time! So, if you're a DOTA player, Wednesday night is YOUR NIGHT!

Reduced Rates!

To sweeten the deal, we're offering reduced rates on DOTA NIGHT for GameFrog members who are also registered DOTA players! Php100 gets you in on the action with 3 hours of gameplay. In excess of those 3 hours, you pay only Php35 per hour. That's a 3-hour minimum buy-in, but hey, what's 3 hours to a DOTA player??

To avail of these reduced rates, you just have to step up to the counter and register as a DOTA player. Hand over your hundred bucks, and you're ready to pwn. Registration is easy. All we're asking for is your name, GameFrog ID/login name, and your cellphone number. Don't worry, we'll only send text messages when we have DOTA related events and we'll NEVER share your personal info with anyone.

The House Team Challenge

We're raising the stakes!! Challenge our house team, and you could win free hours and free meals from our own GameFrog Cafe! Win three times in a row and you could even be our next house team!!

All you need to do is to make a team. Challenges will use the 5v5 format, so you need at least 5 players. You can have as many as 8 players in your team so have alternates in case the challenge grows to epic proportions! To make a team, ask the staff for a DOTA Team Registration Form and fill it up. These rules apply though:

  • There must be at least THREE GameFrog members in your team. Come on, guys, membership is cheap, and you get better rates throughout the week! DO ET!!
  • Your team must have a name. While we know you guys are passionate about DOTA, let's keep the names clean, though!
  • 4 players must remain consistent week to week. You must keep four players consistent within your team roster from week to week to be considered a team.

Once you have a team, just walk on over to our DOTA coordinator Mickey, and tell him you think our House Team is a bunch of wussies. Then the challenge begins. It's simple: a challenge is a race to TWO wins. Win two rounds out of three, and you've won the challenge. Depending on how many consecutive challenges you win, you can get:

  • First win: ONE FREE HOUR for every member of your team.
  • Second consecutive win: A free light meal from our notorious GameFrog Café.
  • Third consecutive win: Congratulations, you're our new house team!

Exciting? It better be, because our House Teams are playing for incentives, too. If you're good enough, these could be your incentives as well!

  • Starters: Free play during Wed DOTA night. That's right. Our house team gets to play for free during Wednesday nights.
  • Undefeated for two weeks: Free light meals every WED DOTA NIGHT!
  • Undefeated for a month: 10 free hours per week on TOP of free play during Wednesdays.
  • Undefeated for two months: FREE PLAY. Period. All week. All day.

Well, don't get too hyper. The house team is responsible for keeping its record untarnished. It MUST have at least 5 members present to accept all challenges during Wednesday nights. If a house team fails to show, second highest ranked team PRESENT during DOTA night is immediately crowned as the new House Team.

So... you think you've got what it takes? See you on Wednesday night then.
