General FAQs
What do the Korean symbols on your logo mean?
It reads as "PC BANG". In Korean, it literally means "PC ROOM" and is what they call Internet / Gaming Cafes in Korea. But the bang concept goes beyond that. There are numerous types of bangs depending on what you like to do. There are noraebangs (singing rooms), which are pretty much like our own videokes. There are manwhabangs (comic book rooms) where you can spend an afternoon just reading comic books. There are also Bangs for board games. This is a concept that we absolutely fell in love with. A place where you can hang out with friends and just relax and play games.
Are you guys Korean?
Nope. We're all Filipino and proud of it.

Yup. LAN Parties have been a very popular offering at GameFrog. We divided our store into sections so that gamers can rent out entire units for their events and parties. We can offer party packages that include buffet and even open bar. Read more about LAN parties here.
We'd like to hold a computer workshop, do you have special rates for those?
Yup. Just contact us with your requirements. If you need special applications installed on our terminals, you'll need to provide us with an installer, and a copy of your license agreement for that software.
Why is safety an issue in an internet cafe?
Long story. The gist of it is that people often course a lot of valuable information through the 'Net. Also, online property such as those acquired within Online RPGs can have significant peso value. That has spawned an entirely new class of thievery. Essentially, unscrupulous people find a way to steal your accounts and sell off such items. The common term for it is "hacking". We spent alot of time and money building up the security systems within GameFrog.
Another aspect of safety is physical safety. If you've seen other cafes... they tend to look like drug dens. Many a cellphone and wallet have been lost in such cafes. We've built our cafe to be roomy and well-lit. And our staff will gladly take your bags to a more secure storage area.
What games do you have?
Lots. And we've got three types: computer games, board games, and trading card games. Check out our main sections on each type for a listing of the games.
Why don't you have this game or that?
Game licenses are expensive. We research and study all games well, and choose only ones that we feel will be popular among gamers. Normally these are games with a solid multi-player or online gaming aspect. If you request a game, most likely we'll do a survey of the community to see if there is demand for it. If there is, we acquire the game.
