Meet the GMs

Six to rule them all and in the darkness bind them...

The term and acronym "GM" has its roots in tabletop RPGs, where the GameMaster (GM) is the player given the responsibility to set up everything needed to immerse other players into the game world.

With that definition, it seemed rather strange to call ourselves anything other than GMs. Think of it as a mark of our obssession with the games. Besides, being called "partners" sure make us sound a lot more intimate than we actually are! :P

Kidding aside, there are six GameFrog GMs:

  • Quiller: is in charge of day-to-day operations at the 'Frog. In a fantasy world, he would be a healing cleric. He's into console games and MMORPGs.

  • Argent: handles content development and marketing. In an alternate universe, he'd be a magic-user with a small menagerie of pets. He's into tabletop RPGs and MMORPGs.

  • Oxnard: handles branding and imaging, as well as database systems development. In a parallel universe, he would be Peter Jackson. He's into button-mashing console games and is rumored to be a toga-wearing tenor at night.

  • Camambert: handles technical R&D, as well as network management. He dabbles in all forms of PC-based games and has strong and sexy arms!

  • Ertai: handles retail operations as well as marketing and promotions. He was a Philippine MTG champion in a previous life, but is now more known for his FPS skills. He also has a second-stomach just for beer.

  • *Trish: (that's me!!) is a poor slave girl who has been chosen as the company avatar. In a mirror universe, she'd be a rock star. The company grapevine seems to support the theory that she was allowed to come on board as a means to get closer to her far cuter sisters--*Tanya and *Trina. Or at the very least as a means to use their likenesses for free.
