The GameFrog Commandments
Play Safe
- Log out. For your own protection, log out of all applications before leaving. Although our systems purge all login information upon system log out, you can never be too safe about your information. It's also a good habit, too.
- Keep your drive clear. Each member is allocated a virtual drive on our servers where they can temporarily store files and downloads for future use. That way, regardless of which terminal you use, your files are there waiting for you (isn't that neat?). While your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, please do not leave confidential information on this network drive. Also, files that exceed 1MB that are not accessed for more than a month will be purged from the system.
- No direct access. To further minimize the risk of viruses and other malicious code, our stations have no drives or ports. If you need to import files to your unit, the cashier will be happy to transfer your files to your unit for free (after a pre-requisite virus scan).
- Demand security. Although we schedule system scans twice a day, you may request for a system scan at any time. This will not be counted against your usage time. Note however that a scan takes about 5-10 minutes.
- Child security. Your safety is top priority at GameFrog. Parents may request us to monitor pick-ups for younger children by duly authorized individuals.
Play Nice
- Be good. No fighting, bullying or cheating. Play to win, but play within the rules.
- No botting or hacking. Anyone caught attempting to install malicious applications will be shown the door and banned from the shop.
- No minors will be allowed to purchase cigarettes or beer. No exceptions.
Play Well
- Curfew. Junior members (under the age of 14) require written parental consent to play after 10pm. We have a pre-printed form for this to make it easy!
- Academics come first. Members who excel in school will be rewarded. Just bring your report card from the most recent grading period. Every mark of "A" or its equivalent will warrant an hour's free gametime. So study hard, and then play even harder!!
